Doç. Dr. Özgür BOLAT, Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi’nden mezun oldu. Fulbright ve Türk Eğitim Vakfı bursu ile Harvard Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi’nde yüksek lisans yaptı. Türkiye’ye dönüşünde Boğaziçi Üniversitesi’nde iki yıl öğretim görevliliği yaptı. Doktora derecesini Cambridge Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi’nden aldı. 2007-2008 yılını MIT Sloan School of Management’ta liderlik alanında doktora dersleri alarak ve araştırma yaparak geçirdi. 2007 yılında Yeni Zelanda’da yapılan uluslararası bir konferansta ‘En İyi Genç Araştırmacı’ ödülünü aldı.
Özgür Bolat, şu anda kurmuş olduğu Anne Baba Okulunda ve ÖğretmeM Akademisinde eğitimler vermektedir. Aynı zamanda Parentwiser mobil uygulaması ile de ülkemize kişiye özgü Çocuk Yetiştirme Rehberini kazandırmıştır. Geliştirmiş olduğu Yetenek Yönetimi Envanteri ile çocukların ve yetişkinlerin kişisel eğilimlerini keşfetmektedir. Envanteri bugüne kadar 25.000 kişi doldurmuştur.
Hürriyet Gazetesi’nde 12 yıl köşe yazarlığı yapmış olan Özgür Bolat, şu anda NTV’de Anne Baba Okulu Programını hazırlayıp sunmaktadır.
Özgür Bolat, çok sayıda sosyal sorumluluk projeleri yapmaktadır. Dove Özgüven Projesini, Google Dijital Ebeveynlik Projesini, Youtube Kids Projesini, Banvit Akıllı Çocuk Sofrası Projesini, Sudakrem Güvenli Bağlanma Projesini ve Hepsiburada Mutlu Aile Akademisi Projesini yürütmektedir. Beni Ödülle Cezalandırma, Beni Övgüyle Utandırma, Sorularla Büyüyoruz, Ters Yüz Öğrenme ve Eğitimin Özü adlı beş kitabı bulunmaktadır. Türk Eğitim Vakfında, TEMA'da ve Boğaziçi Mezunlar Derneği'nde yönetim kurulu üyesidir.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Bolat graduated top of his class from Boğaziçi University’s Faculty of Education. He earned his Master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education with a perfect GPA (4.00) as a Fulbright and Turkish Education Foundation scholar. He received his PhD in Education from the University of Cambridge. In 2007–2008, he conducted research and took doctoral-level courses in leadership and organizational psychology at MIT Sloan School of Management.
Dr. Bolat is renowned for helping individuals unlock their full potential and for building high-performing, cohesive teams through motivation, mental resilience, and leadership development. His workshops focus on mental toughness, intrinsic motivation, focus, and achieving the flow state under pressure.
He is the founder of “Anne Baba Okulu” (Parenting School) and “ÖğretmeM Academy,” where he delivers cutting-edge training in leadership, character education, and motivation. He is also the host of the national TV show “Dr. Özgür Bolat ile Anne Baba Okulu” on NTV, and the creator of Parentwiser, Turkey’s first personalized digital parenting guide.
Dr. Bolat developed the Talent Management Inventory, which has helped over 25,000 individuals—children and adults alike—identify and develop their innate strengths. He has also led numerous large-scale social impact projects, including the Dove Self-Esteem Project, Google Digital Parenting, YouTube Kids Initiative, LEGO Creativity Project, and the Hepsiburada Happy Family Academy.
He is the bestselling author of four books:
